Morty, the corpse flower at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, is expected to bloom over the next 10 days, emitting an odor compared to rotting flesh. When it happens, it will be a rare spectacle: the plant only blossoms every six to 10 years, and only around five bloom in captivity each year worldwide.
